Printbox Slovenia Gradually Phasing Out Scanning Service – Focused on Fast and Simple Printing
Printbox Slovenia informs its users that, since 2019, we have been gradually phasing out the scanning service from our Printbox self-service printing kiosks. This decision is part of our long-term service development strategy, focused on fast, affordable, and easy-to-use printing — the core function most valued and needed by our users.
Although scanning was once a standard part of our full-service offering, we have observed a significant decline in its usage in recent years. At the same time, modern alternatives such as mobile apps, smartphones, and web-based services have become more accessible and often more convenient for users.

Despite the ongoing discontinuation, we will continue to offer scanning for a limited time at selected, easily accessible locations — such as Supernova and City shopping centers across Slovenia. We aim to ensure a gradual and user-friendly transition, and we will inform users in advance about any location changes where scanning remains available.

As our services continue to evolve and systems are upgraded, scanning functionality will eventually be removed from these remaining locations as well. Our primary goal remains to provide fast, reliable, and cost-effective printing, enhanced by simple digital tools that we continuously improve.
